Random 81; Jobs
81. One of my earliest jobs was a supervisor for a membership store which sold wide arrays of appliance, office, home, construction and school supplies. I handled the furniture department. Though I was a supervisor, It was pretty mandatory to do selling too. I was no different from the salesmen we see in department stores now – assisting, greeting and trying to make a living. I developed vasculitis while working there, imagine standing, walking and supervising for 9 long hours. This experience made me humble and appreciate salesmen. I always say thank you and I don’t give them a hard time. I mostly want to give them a light selling experience with me. I have a pretty nice way of showing gratitude by saying Salamat, instead of Thank you. I think it sounds more heartfelt.
