I hope when Cory died, the poverty and corruption in this country died with her too. And the civility of the people governing this country [only few have remained] did not. The last epitome of clean governance has left the Filipino last Saturday – or can someone prove me wrong. My pleasure.
I was not boom boom pow shocked when I heard that the once-plain-housewife-turned-president-and-yet-remained-simple-at-that died Saturday but I was when I learned that Carlo J. Caparas is now akin to Rolando Tinio and Lino Brocka. Caparas was just named a National Artist.
I hope that democracy does not die with Tita, and so is the goverment decision-making skills.
Well, Carlo J. Caparas, if you made it. I can too!
