Dear Diary,
I just came from Lucent Skin Medica earlier to have another 1200mg of gluta and 4cc of ascorbic acid injection. This was my 8th vial all-in-all. This session was unforgettable but everything was tolerable. The doctor had to do it three times to get a back flow [medical term]. It was only on the third try that everything went smoothly flowing. The needle was butterflied at the back of my palm, right arm. And it was right.
The first try was the most painful [left arm]. But it was not the painful like the pain we would think. I used “most” in comparison with the other two tries. There was a burning sensation and it lasted another minute after the needle was withdrawn back.
The second was painless [right arm]. There was a back flow but the doctor wanted to be sure that the gluta goes right the vein. And so she pulled it back again. By this time, I still feel the stinging sensation of the needle in the left arm.
The last was injected in my fist. Bull’s eyed. No pain. None at all. If the needle hits the vein perfectly, most likely it’s going to be painless.
